a happy accident turned into the perfect top. this cropped cutie came to life when our brilliant pattern maker said, “why not just crop it and do short sleeves?” and just like that, our favorite tee was born. cropped, curved, slouchy, and comfy.
now it’s back in a wiggly checkered nettle deadstock we’ve had lounging around the studio since 2021, just waiting for another moment to shine. instead of tidy little squares, this print goes full funhouse. the checks are warped, wavy, and a tiny bit trippy—some areas bend more than others, and that irregular vibe is exactly what we love about it.

this is true nettle hoarder-core. we’ve had this bolt of checkered fabric hanging around the studio since 2021. this time around we turned it into these slouchy tees instead of letting it sit sad and unused.
